	Violins that are adjusted & set-up by us are ready to play right out of the case when it arrives. We adjust the height at the bridge and at the nut, and we tighten and tune the strings to pitch. We then play the violin to check that the string action and the sound is correct.  The violin will arrive with the bridge set-up and the strings in tune. We rosin and check the bow for proper playability. Factory adjusted set-ups will arrive with the bridge down and the strings slackened. The bridge will need to be put into position and the strings tuned to pitch.
