1954 Martin 0-18 Steel String Guitar Small body (13 1/2" lower bout width) Solid Spruce Top Solid Mahogany Back & Sides Rosewood Fingerboard & bridge serial # 133452 Price: $1,500 Sold
These are great little finger-picker guitars and still affordable for vintage Martins. Big loud tone considering the size. These were in production from 1898 to the present. Prior to 1923 they were braced for gut strings only. No cracks anywhere, but it has been played. Action is good and it does not need a neck re-set. Frets have been re-placed and are in very good shape, and the machine heads have been replaced with Grover machines. Great sounding, playable and light as a feather.
